A graduate from IIT Kharagpur, Mr. Ashok Sethi started his career in 1975 at Tata Power's Trombay Thermal Power Plant in Mumbai, beginning with construction of India's first 500 MW unit. Over the next four decades he has gained rich and wide experience across all the key functions that include Commercial, Regulatory, Generation (Incl. Renewable) Transmission, Distribution, Fuel and Power Procurement and more. His specialization lies in business operations encompassing all technical, regulatory and commercial aspects. He provides valuable insights to the industry by contributing to thought leadership in areas like Sector Reforms, Regulations, Operations, Energy Efficiency and Demand Side Management. He has authored many papers both on technical and commercial subjects in forums like CII, MERC, IIPE, CBIP etc.

He is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Executive Director (ED) of Tata Power Co. Ltd. Along with serving as an Executive Director on Tata Power Board, he also serves as a Director on the Board of subsidiary companies like Tata Power Trading Co. Ltd., Industrial Energy Ltd., AGL, etc. He also serves as a key member of executive/ core committees of institutes like WRPC, CBIP, MSPC and IIPE. He is Chairman of Maithon Power Ltd. and Industrial Energy Ltd.

He has been a motivating factor in Tata Power being bestowed with awards from CEA, CII, etc. He believes in building high performance teams and talent pipeline.

An architect by professional qualification, Mr. Vivek Talwar has done TBEM external assessments as a team leader in the Tata Group. In 1989, he was selected for the Indo Canadian Environment Project and has the experience of leading Tata Chemicals' campaign of conserving the Whale Shark. This project won the coveted Green Governance Award for Tata Chemicals, conferred upon the company by the Prime Minister of India.

As Chief Culture Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer in Tata Power, he drives Organizational Transformation, Business Excellence, Environment Management, CSR, Biodiversity Conservation and Customer Affection, and has played a role in the organizational transformation of both Tata Chemicals (The Company he served from 1984 to 2007) and Tata Power.

An ardent trekker, he is widely travelled and is a wildlife and nature photographer. His slide shows giving a message of environmental conservation have been presented to institutions across India, Europe and North America.

A Commerce Graduate with LL.B degree from Mumbai University, Mr. Arun Bapat is also "Fellow Member" of The Institute of Company Secretary of India.

With an illustrious career of over 37 years, he is currently working with Tata Power as Head - Corporate Legal. Prior to joining Tata Power he worked in the Legal Function of three multinational companies - Siemens, Colgate Palmolive (I) Ltd and Skanska Cementation Ltd.

He has gathered vast experience in legal function covering Engineering, Consumer Goods FMCG and in the field Construction/ Infrastructure Projects. In addition to his working experience he undertakes various in-house seminars for concerning legal aspects of commercial contracts, infrastructures project contracts, tendering etc.

He also represented the organization in various arbitration matters including quasi-judicial bodies.

A Chartered Accountant & Cost Accountant by profession, Mr. Nandakumar Seshadri Tirumalai holds 24 years of post-qualification experience out of which 12 years has been in treasury, 9 years as a CFO/ Business finance head and 3 years in Financial Controllership. His area of expertise includes Financial Accounting, Treasury, Investor relations, Business Finance with experience of working in various FMCG, Retail, Infrastructure, Power, Agri Business, Financial Services, Textiles and Apparel Companies.

He is presently the Financial Controller & Chief - Subsidiaries Finance of the Tata Power Company. His previous work experiences include Chief - Corporate Finance and Accounts, Deputy Chief - Corporate Finance & Accounts (Tata Power Company), Head - Corporate Treasury and Investor relations (Tata Power Company), Director - Finance - Corporate Treasury, Retail and FMCG Business (Raymond Ltd, Mumbai), Vice President Finance & CFO, Reliance Securities Ltd (Reliance Capital Company), DGM Finance (ITC Limited-Kolkata, Hyderabad and Guntur).

A mechanical engineer and an MBA, Mr. Shankar Venkateswaran has about 35 years of work experience in the corporate and social development sectors. He started his career in mainstream management consulting before going on to set up Partners in Change, a pioneering non-profit organization specializing in corporate sustainability and CSR. He has also set up the India office of the American India Foundation and served as Director of Think-Tank before joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as Director, Sustainability. He was appointed the chief of Tata Sustainability Group since January 2014, providing guidance, thought leadership and support on sustainability and corporate responsibility activities of the $ 100 billion Tata Group of Companies.

He has held positions in the board of several non-profit organizations in India and overseas. He was also a member of the Guidelines Drafting Committee for the National Voluntary Guidelines for Responsible Business notified by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India and is currently a part of a two-member panel updating these guidelines.
